Social, Emotional and Mental Health

Please find below a list of external agencies and websites that could support your child and your family.

This is not an exhaustive list and these sites are not for children to access independently.

At Noremarsh, we recognise the importance of nurturing the social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs of our children.  We invest time into building relationships with our children and their families so that we can fully explore their individual needs.  It is imperative that our children are at the centre of all that we do, and that we nurture a sense of belonging within our Noremarsh community.

Our ambition is that with compassion and support we can encourage our children to self-regulate so that as they grow older they become compassionate and resilient adults with healthy coping strategies who can contribute to the wider community.

Please see all sections of our website for more details on how we support all children at Noremarsh with their wellbeing; curriculum, Forest School, ELSA, SEMH breakfast club, Farm Visits, Sports Coaching, Reading Dog and Young Carers.

Children and adults get the most out of life and learning when they feel safe and happy. If you feel your child would benefit from further support for their SEMH needs,  please speak to your child’s class teacher or Mrs Wannell, our Student Manager.
