Our school values are very important to us. At Noremarsh we make no excuses for knowing our ABC’s! We strongly believe that for our children to reach their full potential there needs to be a partnership between parents, children and our warm and engaging team of staff.
Here are some comments from parents and visitors about our school that we are really proud of:
There’s a sense of ‘family’ at Noremarsh. I feel the children are very safe and are free to take measured risks within the walls of the school.
Whenever I am asked to come and supply teach for Noremarsh, I really do not mind which class I am asked to teach in as behaviour at the school is excellent and the school is so well organised!
All credit to the team at Noremarsh. My child absolutely loves coming to school and comes home full of what she’s done every day, they think the world of the teachers. Thank you for everything that you do. I for one am most appreciative of the efforts you must go to.
Clubs, fun run, disco, forest school. We know the school work is covered it's the extras that make the school experience special at Noremarsh.
They came home ecstatic that they both got their favourite hot chocolate together with a person they respect - Mrs MacMeekin! In their own words - best day ever!
Teachers are really passionate in being the best out of the children. Noremarsh has huge grounds for kids to be able to explore and play.
My child thinks the best thing about Noremarsh is the play pod, the lovely class rooms and of course, the field.
Thank you for letting us know about the nomination for Hot Choc Friday with Mrs. MacMeekin. We are so proud, and it means so much to see her hard work and ambition being recognized at school. She has been so excited about her story and it’s wonderful to hear how much effort she’s putting into her work. Thank you again for supporting and encouraging her. We truly appreciate everything you do.
Safe Environment, good approach by teachers, thank you!
My child was thrilled to be picked for Hot Choc and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a lovely thing to do for the children, makes them feel very special.
My child was super excited to tell me they had been selected for hot choc and are very much looking forward to it. So nice to end the term on a positive.
Great teachers and support stuff engagement, sensible class sizes that allows focused learning, a nice blend of fun as well as education.
My child enjoys the school. His teachers along the way have been very special.
What makes Noremarsh special? It's next to a park and children can have unstructured, unsupervised, independent play before and after school. The head inspires confidence and its a small junior school environment not a primary school so it can really focus on getting my child ready for RWBA.
Noremarsh has a strong inclusive ethos. Staff are ambitious for all, including those with special educational needs, and care that they have the best school experience possible.
Very encouraging is the importance of developing as much pupil independence as possible for each child.
You have got such a lovely school here, I loved seeing the farm today and the children are really well cared for.
What makes Noremarsh special is the provision of support for SEN, compassionate staff team and just overall happy and positive attitude to everything.
The visibility of teachers and staff at Noremarsh is important. There is good communication and my child feels safe in her environment.
Staff are really child-focussed and I feel like they know my child really well. The school understands that all children are different, have different strengths and interests, and learn in a variety of ways. There is always consideration when planning activities about what all families might be able to afford and ensure that all whole-school events and activities are accessible to everyone so no child feels left out or unable to join in.
Mrs MacMeekin's investment in reading is so important as are the wellbeing sessions and all the afterschool clubs.
Current teacher is excellent. Goes above and beyond as all staff do.
I value the variety of after school clubs (something for everyone), staff knowing the individual children and their carers (by being at the gate in the morning/evening) and encouraging the children in a way that suits the child.
At Noremarsh the forest school is ace and there are lovely grounds to play in the summer.
From a parents perspective I love the caring dedicated teachers, the schools love of books (sure will rub off on my child eventually), amazing field and woods and children are out playing as much as possible at lunchtime. My child especially loves playing football !
This school is inclusion, community and care.
It’s a caring, nurturing, smaller school than others in Bassett and we love it.
Teachers are kind, my child has lots of friends and learning is fun.
