Noremarsh Junior School Attendance Guide
We strongly believe that for our children to reach their full potential there needs to be a partnership between parents, children and our warm and engaging team of staff. An essential part of this partnership is attendance.
Communication between home and school is vital to this process.
As a school we would appreciate your support in the following ways:
- Telephone or email the school office before 08.45 to let us know that your child is going to be absent from school. Our office team are always happy to help and give the most up-to-date advice that we have at school if you are unsure whether your child should be in school or not. You can always leave a message on the school answerphone.
- Keep in regular touch with us if your child is likely to be absent for a period of time.
- Avoid booking non-urgent medical appointments during the school day.
- Let the school office know when you have authorised appointments during the school day, which your child must attend e.g., a copy of a consultant’s letter for a hospital appointment.
- If you have any concerns or need to talk to us about your child, please do contact us, so we can support both you and your child and resolve any issues.
